THE ACME ARCHIVES

Before ONNNxp, we built as ACME Overland: custom expedition trucks and adventure vans, each made to fit the people who would travel in it. These are the builds that brought us here.

Born From a Need for Adventure

Early photo of the ACME Overland team

Jessica and Tom Bender were looking for a vehicle that could carry their family, and their Malamute, Echo, through summer or winter, for work or play. The market offered scrapped-together DIYs or flashy, high-end Sprinters, and nothing in between.

So they built their own, drawing on combined experience in refined engineering, product design, building materials, upholstery and cabinetry. ACME Overland grew out of that first build, earning a reputation for transforming raw vehicles into efficient, highly capable homes on wheels. Every project was custom-built alongside our clients, teaching us creative ways to adapt each vehicle to their unique lifestyle.

Today, that same dedication continues under ONNNxp as we expand into new ways of supporting vehicle ownership. While our scope has grown, our foundation remains the same: to honoring the craft, values, and spirit of ACME Overland in everything we build.
